Campaign Expectations and Requirements
Transparency and Regular Updates
- Campaign Owners must provide monthly updates detailing progress. This ensures contributors remain informed and engaged. For guidance on best practices for updates, please visit our Update Support Center article.
- Failure to update may result in withheld funds, increased refund requests, or account suspension.
Perk Fulfillment
- All perks promised on a campaign page must be delivered to contributors in a timely manner.
- Campaign Owners must fulfill perks for Linno Fund contributors before addressing perks on other platforms.
Identity Verification
- Campaign Owners must complete identity verification before receiving disbursements.
- Verification requires matching legal residence information with campaign details.
For additional details, visit the ID Verification Support Center article.
Managing Comments
- Campaign Owners are required to address all questions and concerns raised in the comments.
- Comments should only be flagged as spam if they violate Linno Fund’s Terms. Misuse of spam flags may result in restrictions.
InDemand Program Participation
- Campaigns in the InDemand program must fulfill perks within three months of the estimated shipping date.
- Proof of fulfillment may be required, and failure to comply may result in removal from the program.
No Cross-Promotion
- Linno Fund users are permitted to communicate with Contributors and Campaign Owners solely about the specific Campaign to which the contribution was made. Cross-promoting other Campaigns, products, or services—especially those outside the Linno Fund platform—through Campaign Updates, emails, SMS, or any other communication method is strictly prohibited. Additionally, users must not use Linno Fund’s platform to spam or self-promote their Campaigns. This includes posting promotional comments on other Campaigns or using other platform features to advertise your Campaign or product. Such actions are considered spam and violate Linno Fund’s policies.
Repeat Campaign Owners
- If you have previously run a crowdfunding campaign on Linno Fund or another platform and failed to deliver the promised perks (or similar), or if you started selling similar products to your perks before fulfilling them, you may not launch another campaign on Linno Fund without proving that all perks from your earlier campaign have been fulfilled. Approval for new campaigns is at our sole discretion, and we also decide whether the provided proof is sufficient.
Tech and Innovation Campaigns
- If your campaign falls under “Tech & Innovation” or involves hardware, you must specify the product stage. This stage should accurately reflect the current development phase of your perks or related products. For details, check our Product Stages FAQ.
Prohibition on Self-Contributions
- Self-contributions, or making contributions to your own campaign, are strictly prohibited by Linno Fund and our payment processors. This includes using your account to contribute or accepting funds from others and contributing on their behalf. If discovered, contributions may be blocked, or your Linno Fund account may face suspension. Contributors must use their own accounts to support campaigns. For more details, visit the Self-Contribution Help Center Article.

Disbursement Policies
Disbursement Procedures
Verification and Approval Process:
Initial Verification: Campaigns must meet all required verification criteria, including compliance with our Terms of Use and related policies before any funds are released. The Linno Fund’s Trust and Safety Team conducts an initial review to ensure these standards are met.
Identity and Banking Checks: Comprehensive identity and banking verifications must be completed. Additional information requested by our payment processor or identity verification service must be provided without delay. Failure to submit this information may result in the withholding or refunding of funds to contributors. Learn more here about ID Verification.
Management of Large Contributions:
For campaigns receiving significant financial contributions, we may retain a portion of the funds. This measure is to manage potential risks involving chargebacks or other related disputes from contributors. The exact portion withheld and the timeline for release will be determined at our discretion, following a thorough review of the campaign’s circumstances.

Guidance on Disbursement: Detailed information regarding the timeline and process for fund disbursement can be found in the ‘When Do I Get My Money’ section of our Support Center.
Policy Violations

- Retain a portion of the funds accumulated through your campaign.
- Temporarily freeze specific contributions and initiate refunds to contributors as necessary.
- Engage third-party agencies to assist in reclaiming funds that have already been paid out to you.
- Terminate user accounts or remove campaigns without prior notice.
- Pursue additional legal actions as deemed necessary by our team to safeguard the integrity and functionality of our platform.
