Perks are rewards offered by campaigners to thank their supporters. These may include items, special acknowledgments, exclusive access to services or events, and more! Campaigners create these perks to inspire various contribution levels, making backers feel valued and connected to the project. However, all perks offered are the responsibility of campaigners, and Linno Fund does not guarantee their fulfillment or quality.
Claiming a perk is simple:
Be sure to select your perk before completing the payment to ensure it’s linked to your contribution.
Not interested in perks but still want to support a campaign? No problem! Click on the “Back It” button, enter the amount you’d like to contribute, and proceed with payment. In this case, you’re making a donation without claiming any specific perk.
Receiving perks can take some time, so be patient! Unlike online shopping, perks may require additional time to produce, manufacture, or ship. Campaign owners manage the timeline for perk fulfillment, so if you have questions about when to expect yours, reach out to the campaigner directly for an update.
If you’ve already contributed to a campaign but need to change your shipping address or contact details, you can do so on your Contribution Details page. Note:
If the campaign owner hasn’t marked the perk as “Fulfilled” or “Locked,” you can update your details directly.
If the perk is marked as “Locked,” the campaigner has started processing your perk, making changes on Linno Fund unavailable. In this case, contact the campaigner to request address changes or discuss alternative solutions.
Sometimes perks offer options like size, color, or specific features. Campaigners may send out surveys to backers to capture these preferences, so be sure to keep an eye on your email. You can also check the campaign’s Story section to see if the campaigner has specified how they’ll gather these details.
If you know your selection and would like to share it sooner, reach out to the campaigner with your preferences directly.
If you’d like a different perk after you’ve made a contribution, you’ll need to make a new contribution to claim the new perk. Currently, each contribution on Linno Fund is treated individually, meaning you can’t modify an existing perk. To upgrade or change your perk, simply contact the campaign owner to discuss any options they might offer.
If you’re interested in more than one perk, you’ll need to make a separate contribution for each one. While it requires an extra step, this approach allows you to support the campaign more flexibly and collect all the perks that interest you.
After every contribution, Linno Fund sends a confirmation email to your registered email address. This email serves as proof of your transaction. If you need a more detailed receipt or an official invoice, please reach out to the campaign owner directly, as Linno Fund does not provide formal invoices beyond the confirmation email.
