Linno Fund’s Pre-Launch Reservations is a feature that allows campaign creators to offer a guaranteed discount to backers who place a small fee before the campaign launch. This feature ensures that backers won’t need to compete for limited discounted perks once the campaign is live—they’ll have their discount locked in.

Once accepted, campaigns participating in the beta will have access to a new “Reservations” tab within the Pre-Launch section. Here, campaign owners can activate Reservation fields, set them up, and publish them for backers to reserve.
Compatibility Note: Pre-Launch Reservations is only available for campaigns with Flexible Funding, which can be updated in the Campaign Editor’s Funding tab.
Campaigns that use Pre-Launch Reservations will have up to 6 months to officially launch their crowdfunding campaign. A specific deadline will be communicated to each campaign that joins the beta.
Once the campaign goes live, the campaign owner will send an email to backers who placed reservations. This email will include a link to a “secret perk,” allowing these early backers to claim their guaranteed discount.
If a backer decides they want a refund before the campaign goes live, they can reach out to the Linno Fund support team via our contact page.
Refunds are only available before the campaign launches, and they’re also offered if the campaign fails to launch within approximately 6 months from the reservation date.
Funds collected from Pre-Launch Reservations will be disbursed to the campaign owner along with the total funds raised at the end of the campaign.
